Academic Summer

(Age 12 to 17)

Academic Summer runs quality GCSE, IB and A-Levels preparation and revision courses in July and August. We welcome international and British students aged 12 to 17.


This course is for you if you:


  • are following or planning to follow the IB Diploma or A-levels or GCSEs

  • need to revise a particular academic subject

  • are considering continuing your education in the UK

  • plan to use English for study and work in the future

  • are looking for a stimulating and enjoyable summer learning experience

  • enjoy meeting and communicating with people from a wide range of countries and cultures

  • are looking for a typical boarding school experience, would like to study in the centre of London or Cambridge

Explore GCSE (age 12 to 14)

This programme will enable you to explore the broad curriculum of IGCSE and cover a wide range of academic subjects, giving you a taste of what lies ahead in years 9 and 10 in the UK system.

You will:

  • study English, Mathematics, Sciences, Social Studies and the Arts

  • gain a foundation for successful future learning

  • develop your IT skills, language skills and study skills

  • learn how to deliver effective presentations

Engage with IB / A Level (age 15 to 17)

This programme offers four study blocks each week and is customized to your learning preference. You will choose your subjects depending on your academic needs and interests.

You have a choice of the following subjects and you need to choose your subjects prior to the course. We will write the timetable around your choices and meet your individual needs.
