University of Sussex is located in Brighton, a coastal city in the south of England. The local scenery is beautiful and it has the reputation of London's back garden. The university is surrounded by South Downs National Park. It is the only university in the UK located in a national park, providing students with a comfortable and good reading environment.
Introduction:
The University of Sussex is renowned for its rich creative thinking, innovative and diverse teaching, and excellent cross-disciplinary research. Among them, it has outstanding performance in social sciences and humanities, and the Department of Development Studies (Development Studies) ranks first in the world. In addition, the university also has outstanding performance in physics and chemistry. So far, 3 alumni and professors have been Nobel Prize winners, and two of them teach in the department of the Academy of Sciences.
