Pre-University (14-17 years)

​Course Features:

  • A challenging programme for those with an upper intermediate level of English or above to help you

  • prepare for future university and career choices.

  • Maximum class size: 16 international students

  • *22.5 hours’ tuition per week (18 hours’ in your arrival week) divided between Majors, Minors, Academic Workshops and end-of-week presentation

  • Study a different Major and Minor each week e.g. Business and Economics, Advanced STEM, Film Making & Drama, International Relations

  • Experienced teachers bring complex subjects to life

  • Enhance your critical thinking skills

  • Academic Workshops enrich your experience e.g. British Culture, logic & problem solving, leadership challenges.

  • Prepare for the IELTS exam (exam is optional and subject to availability, cost approx. £250)

Activity Programme:

  • Afternoon activities include art & design, music, fitness and sport

  • Evening activities include team challenges, mystery nights, talent shows, traditional British games, relaxed nights in houses, discos

  • Special events include formal dinner in College Hall, Ceilidh (traditional dancing), archery

  • 2 excursions per week e.g. Bath (Fashion Museum, Roman Baths), London (West End musical, river cruise), Oxford (college visit, professional guided walking tour, punting), Corfe Castle and a trip to the seaside.
