We are one of the oldest girls' schools in UK founded in 1788. We are located within 300 acres of parkland, but just a 10 minute walk from the London Underground station at Rickmansworth and only a 35 minute journey into Central London. We have outstanding sporting facilities including all weather pitch, tennis courts, golf course, indoor swimming pool, extensive playing fields, double sports hall, trampolining, state-of-the-art gym. In 2019 we opened our new Performing Arts Faculty (drama, art and music) and our Science department boast a planetarium and observatory.
Academic results are consistently excellent and we offer an extensive range of extra-curricular activities from scuba diving to yoga, Astronomy to debating, computer coding to the Duke of Edinburgh Award. We offer 31 subjects at A level and our Sixth form girls leave us to join a variety of universities across the UK and the world. Ours is a happy school where girls are encouraged, supported and nurtured to do their very best in their academic studies and their life beyond the classroom.
